Acquisition

Defeat the invading Eleonora at the Second Church of Marika in Altus Plateau. Yura’s quest provides context for this encounter. It is a midgame pickup, so use another weapon while building the required Dexterity and Arcane.

Commit only in a real opening

Two-handed attacks suit the twinblade’s multiple hits. Bloodblade Dance is a larger commitment and should follow a boss’s confirmed recovery. Its bleed benefits from Arcane scaling, unlike Bloodhound’s Fang.

Both fire resistance and blood-loss immunity reduce the appeal of its normal plan. Keep an Occult physical weapon available. The poleblade cannot change skill or affinity, and cannot be buffed by grease or spells.
