Acquisition
Find the underground chest in Street of Sages Ruins in the Swamp of Aeonia, Caelid. Meteorite Staff is nearby and boosts gravity sorceries, but cannot be upgraded. The trip is possible early and dangerous.
Clear the line of sight
Rocks can clip walls or miss a moving target. Cast with enough room and time for them to leave the staff and travel. This is a physical damage option for an Intelligence character facing magic resistance.
Physical damage does not mean every cast is safe. Rennala’s spell pressure and summons still require movement. Magic damage buffs do not boost the physical component of Rock Sling; avoid judging it by the color of the casting effect.
