Change a fire-focused loadout

Bring fire protection and activate your available Scadutree Blessing upgrades. Blasphemous Pilgrim should emphasize Lightning Spear or another appropriate non-fire tool here. A fire sword’s usual performance is not evidence that it is the right answer for this boss.

First phase: wait out the spectacle

His opening fire approach and spear strings have delayed parts. Dodge the impact and watch for the next extension. The glowing grab is not safely blocked; prioritize escaping it over taking a trade.

After a completed spear sequence, answer briefly and move. A long spell or stance setup can get caught by a renewed lunge. Healing also needs a genuine recovery, not just several steps of separation.

Second phase: follow the whole serpent sequence

The transformation adds serpent attacks and changes the timing cues. Dodge the bite or slam when it reaches you, then keep watching for additional snakes before attacking the returning humanoid form.

Use a few attempts to identify where he actually returns and pauses. If you consistently die with unused flasks, reduce damage investment in favor of appropriate defense; if you survive but cannot punish, shorten your weapon commitment.
